Kohler's visit in occupied territories: Moroccan forces resort to aggression to deter Sahrawi demonstrators in El Aaiun

El Aaiun(Occupied Territories), June 29, 2018 (SPS) - The Moroccan forces used violence against Saharawi population who on Thursday took to the streets of the occupied capital of Western Sahara, El Aaiun, on the eve of the visit of UN Secretary-General’s envoy for Western Sahara, Horst Koehler, in the occupied territories.

The Moroccan forces had besieged the streets and alleys of the occupied city of El Aaiun, since Wednesday, in an attempt to prevent the Sahrawi citizens from taking to the streets and delivering their voice.

The Sahrawi demonstrators were suddenly attacked by various formations of Moroccan forces, which led to dozens of victims, some of whom were transferred to the hospital in the occupied city.
