Specialized Spanish medical team in Sahrawi refugee camps

Madrid, April 19, 2018 (SPS) - A specialized Spanish medical team has just visited the Sahrawi refugee camps to perform surgeries and treat kidney diseases, the Andalusian health service said.
This 19th Andalusian medical mission from this Spanish region will continue until 24 April.
The mission also includes various drugs and equipment necessary for surgeries, added the source.
The team is also composed of an urologist, nurses and anesthetist. They will be responsible for conducting diagnoses of people with kidney disease and deciding on the cases for surgeries.
The team of health professionals is part of the volunteers of a Spanish association, friend with the Sahrawi people called Sahara free.
This Spanish medical team will be assisted by a Sahrawi urologist Mulay Ahmed, specialist in post-surgical care.SPS
