Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), April 04, 2018 (SPS) - The member of the National Secretariat, representative of the Frente POLISARIO at the United Nations, Bujari Ahmed, passed away on Tuesday, following an illness, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
Bujari Ahmed joined the ranks of the Frente POLISARIO from his youth, when he was a student," said the statement, which laments "the loss of a great and prominent diplomat who dedicated his life to the service of the national cause." He was known for his diplomatic skills and his knowledge of the Saharawi question and his place in international relations, especially at the UN level.
After the loss of the diplomat Bukhari Ahmed, the Presidency, has decreed an official mourning of 7 days, starting on April 4. SPS
