University of Extremadura hosts round table on human rights violation in occupied Western Sahara

Badajoz, Dec 20, 2017 (SPS) -the University of Extremadura has hosted a round table on human rights in Western Sahara and its ongoing violation by the forces of occupation of the Moroccan regime.
The speakers of these conferences were: Hameiduha Emhamed, Saharawi delegate for Extremadura and Jaidima Yumani, Saharawi activist for human rights.
The lecturers explained in detail the situation of the people from the origin of the conflict to the present day, emphasizing the urgent call to put an end to the violations of the most basic human rights by the Moroccan forces of repression and greater solidarity with the prisoners of Gdeim Izik in order to get their release.
At the same time, the speakers demanded the end of the illegal Moroccan occupation and the indiscriminate plundering of the natural resources of Western Sahara.
The event was attended by a large audience, mostly professors and university students. SPS
