5th Euro-African Summit kicks off with the participation of Sahrawi Republic

Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), Nov 29, 2017 (SPS) - the 5th Euro-African Partnership Summit has began Wendesday  in Abidjan, with the participation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) among 83 heads of State and Government of the European Union and the African Union, including the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali.
The summit, under the theme "Investing in youth for sustainable development", will be the first of its kind to be organized under the umbrella of the African Union - European Union, as decided by the AU Heads of State in July 2017.
The Summit will also address the assessment of what has been achieved in the framework of the implementation of the Plan of Action 2014-2017 ratified during the recent summit in Brussels, especially in the area of ​​peace and security.
President Brahim Gali is accompanied by Minister of State and Counselor at the Presidency, Bachir Mustafa Sayed, the coordinator with MINURSO, Mhamed Khadad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, the UNMS, Fatma Mehdi, the delegate minister for Europe, Mohamed Sidati, the delegate minister for Africa, Hamdi Mayara, the ambassador for the African Union, Laman Baali, the adviser to the presidency, Abdati Braica, and the presidential adviser Sukeina Larabas and the Director of the African Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Musa Bilal.SPS
