Sahrawi Republic takes part in meeting on refugees and displaced persons in Africa

Kampala (Uganda), Nov 15, 2016 (SPS) - The Ugandan capital, Kampala, hosted the meeting of the member countries of the African Union and international organizations on refugees and displaced persons in Africa, as well as the phenomenon of migration.
The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) participates represented by the first secretary of the Saharawi embassy for Uganda and Rwanda, Al-la Sidahmed Omar and the first secretary of the embassy for Ethiopia and the African Union, Mohamed Omar Fneidu, who made a series of meetings with other representations of African countries and international institutions specializing in issues related to refugees and humanitarian aid.
The meeting is expected to address the necessary mechanisms to promote data analysis in order to ensure an adequate response to the challenges posed by refugees and displaced persons in Africa. Therefore, the African Union and international organizations, intend to draw a road map to reduce the areas hit by these phenomena, through the eradication of causes.
It is important to remember that the SADR has presided, over the last two years, the African Committee in charge of refugees, displaced persons and migration. SPS
