Launch of 12th edition of International Conference of Interfaith Dialogue for Peace in Sahrawi refugee camps

Boujdour (Sahrawi refugee camps), Nov 5, 2017 (SPS) - The 12th International Conference of Interfaith Dialogue for Peace was launched Saturday in the Wilaya of Boujdour, Sahrawi refugee camps, under the theme "Roads to Al-Jannah (Paradise) in Divine Religions."

The opening session was attended by Prime Minister, Abdelkader Talib Omar, Minister of Justice and Religious Affairs, Amrabih Al-Mami Al-Dai, members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, SADR Government and National Council, with the participation of scholars and sheikhs from Algeria, priests and researchers from the United States of America, Portugal, France, Brazil, Tunisia, Romania, Slovenia and Spain.

The Conference will continue its works for four days, where it addresses the rapprochement between the divine religions, and studies the roads that lead to paradise in the holy books.

During the opening session, the heads of delegations participating in the Conference expressed their support for the Saharawi people's just struggle for self-determination and independence. (SPS)
