Shaheed El-Hafed (refugee camps), Oct 20, 2017 (SPS) - Sahrawi President and Polisario Front's Secretary General Brahim Ghali on Thursday has held talks with the United Nations Secretary General's Personal Envoy for Western Sahara Horst Kohler.
The one-to-one discussions took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in Shaheed El-Hafed camp.
A press briefing will be held by the Sahrawi president at the end of the audience he granted to Kohler, who is on a visit to the region in a bid to get the stalled peace talks back on track.
Upon his arrival in Awserd on Wednesday, Kohler expressed his commitment to resolving the Western Sahara conflict and said to be optimistic about the future of the UN-sponsored negotiation process.
