Submitted on

Sao Paulo, Sept 5, 2017 (SPS) - The Unified Workers' Central (CUT), gathered in meeting in an extraordinary congress in the city of Sao Paulo, has just approved a motion to support the struggle of the Sahrawi people.
The Unified Workers' Central in the name of the sacred principle of self-determination of peoples, supports the struggle of the Sahrawi people for their emancipation and freedom.
CUT, in its motion, defends that the Saharawi people have the right to independence and to democratically decide their destiny directly at the polls, through a referendum as included in the 1991 peace agreement, which still has not been implemented. SPS
