Moroccan attempt to gain time in Western Sahara conflict is a lost challenge

Algiers, Sept 05, 2017 (SPS) - The Secretary General of the National Union of Saharawi Women (UNMS), Ms. Fatma El-Mahdi said in an interview with the Algerian newspaper "Al Hiwar "that the Moroccan attempt to gain time in the Western Sahara conflict is a lost challenge.
Fatma El-Mahdi argued his statement by saying that Morocco lives internally a precarious situation and a crisis that is getting worse and worse.
Fatma went on saying that it is time to convince the international community that the Saharawi people are a peaceful people struggling to achieve their legitimate rights in freedom and independence.
UNMS’s SG added in this context that Morocco must collaborate with all international parties to reach a just and peaceful solution that guarantees the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.
In this interview, Fatma El-Mahdi addressed the different phases of struggle of Saharawi women and their resistance to defend the homeland and the legitimate rights of the Saharawi people and thus demonstrate to the world that the Saharawi woman deserves all respect and consideration for their sacrifice and their defense to the values ​​of freedom and dignity.
