Naples Mayor and his parliament Speaker reaffirm their support for Saharawi people just struggle

Naples, Italy, July 12, 2017 (SPS) - The mayor of the Italian city of Naples and the Speaker of his local parliament reiterated Tuesday, in a joint act at the city hall, his unconditional support for the struggle of the Saharawi people for their self-determination and independence.
The event organized to welcome the Saharawi children of the Vocation in Peace program was attended by the local authorities of the Naples region, headed by the mayor of the city and the Speaker of his parliament.
The mayor of Naples reiterated his city's support for the demands of the Saharawi people, calling on the UN to take its responsibility and decolonize Western Sahara. In this sense, the Naples authorities committed themselves to disseminate the Saharawi cause at local, Italian and European Union level in order to achieve more solidarity and visibility of the Saharawi cause.
Finally, the delegate in Italy, Omar Mih, thanked on his behalf and on behalf of the Saharawi government the city of Naples for its firm support for the struggle of the Saharawi. SPS
