Special Envoy of the President meets with Kenyan Foreign Minister

Nairobi,  24 August 2016 (SPS) - The Minister of State, Advisor to the President, Mr. Bachir Mustafa, met yesterday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, with Kenyan Foreign Minister, Ms. Amina Mohamed, in. his role as Special Envoy of the President of the Republic.
During this meeting, the Special Envoy of the President delivered a letter to the Kenyan Minister sent to the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, from his Saharawi counterpart Brahim Gali.
The meeting, attended by the Ambassador of SADR in Kenya, Mr. Abbah Almed, also represented a chance for Mr. Mustafa Sayed to explain the latest developments on the conflict in Western Sahara, emphasizing the Moroccan maneuvers to affect the good position enjoyed by the Saharawi Republic on the African continent.
For her part, the Kenyan Foreign Minister Ms. Amina Mohamed, reaffirmed "the firm position of her country in support of the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination according to international law and the resolutions and decisions of the African Union" expressing "the Kenyan desire to reach soonly a fair and transparent solution that guarantees the inalienable right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and freedom."
