Cooperation agreement between University of Tifariti and Catholic University of Uruguay

Montevideo (Uruguay), June 11, 2016 (SPS) - The Saharawi University of Tifariti and the Catholic University of Uruguay have signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by the Director of the Sahrawi audiovisual training school, Abidin Kaid Saleh, Mr. Omar Hmudi, and Rector of the Catholic University Mr. Eduardo Casarotti.

the signing ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in Uruguay, M.Cheibani Abbas, and the President of the Association of friends of the Sahrawi People in Uruguay, Mr. Emiliano Gomez.

Omar Hmudi who is on a working visit in Uruguay held meetings with Uruguayan officials, including personalities from the fields of culture, politics, media and human rights.

The Saharawi Director hosted lectures in various institutions and made interviews with several media in Uruguay, including VTV television and the National Radio of the Uruguay. (SPS)
