Nigeria extends condolences to Saharawi people following death of President Mohamed Abdelaziz

Abuja (Nigeria), 4 Juin 2016 (SPS) Le MAE du Nigéria, M. Geoffrey Onyea a présenté, au nom du président Mohamadou  Buhari , du Gouvernement et du peuple du Nigeria ses "sincères condoléances pour la perte du peuple sahraoui de son président et symbole de sa lutte nationale, feu Mohamed Abdelaziz," estimant que son départ était une "perte non seulement pour le peuple sahraoui, sinon pour tous les peuples du continent et les libres du monde".

The head of the Nigerian diplomacy who signed at the Embassy of the SADR in Abuja on a condolence book, reiterated “the support of his country to the struggle of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, and commitment to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. "

 

It should recalled that the charge d'affaires at the Embassy of Nigeria in Algiers headed a delegation to take part in the funeral of the late Mohamed Abdel Aziz, President of the Republic, Secretary General of Polisario, died on Tuesday. (SPS)
