ASPDCPS organizes a solidarity platform with Gdeim Izik Group

El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), March 18, 2016 (SPS) -The Sahrawi Association for the Protection and Dissemination of Saharawi Culture and Heritage (ASPDCPS) held yesterday in El Aaiun (Occupied Territories of Western Sahara) a platform of solidarity with the Saharawi political prisoners Gdeim Izik group who are on hunger strike for the sixteenth consecutive day
On the platform were representatives of different associations and Saharawi human rights activists in the Occupied Territories, raising flags of the Saharawi Republic and chanting slogans in favor of the Frente POLISARIO and rejecting the Moroccan occupation.
 
 
The platform witnessed also several interventions among which a letter of condolence to the recently deceased friend and brother of the Saharawi people, Ahmed Baba Miska, and a message from the Saharawi political prisoners on hunger strike for the heroes of the day a day of the Intifada of Independence.
 
 
During the closing of the platform solidarity, ASPDCPS issued a statement assumes the Moroccan authorities the responsibility of the negative consequences that may suffer political prisoners on hunger strike and demanded their immediate release without conditions. (SPS)
