SPLA units targets entrenchments of Moroccan occupation soldiers in several areas in Mahbas sector

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 31 December 2022 (SPS) - Units of Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) on Saturday targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector, causing loss of lives and equipment, according to military statement No. 707 of the Ministry of Defense.
"Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army targeted the entrenchments of the occupation soldiers in the areas of Alaria, Laagad and Aguirat-Ould-Ablal in the Mahbas sector," the statement said.

Spain: Demonstrators denounce import and sale of stolen products from occupied Western Sahara

Madrid, 25 December 2022 (SPS) - Members of the Sahrawi community and activists on Saturday staged protests in front of shops in Spain known for importing and selling products stolen from occupied Western Sahara.
Participants in these protests carried Sahrawi flags and distributed leaflets to the shoppers of Mercadona stores as well as passers-by who received detailed explanations about the involvement of this commercial space in the import and sale of products looted from the occupied Western Sahara.

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 24 December 2022 (SPS) - The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Saturday new attacks against positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, indicated the military communiqué N703 of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the communiqué, SPLA units targeted the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces with intense shelling in the regions of Laakad and Sebkha T'nouched in the Mahbes sector.

Algiers, 19 December 2022 (SPS) - The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) expressed, on Monday, its gratitude to the Algerian Red Crescent (ARC) for its support to refugees hosted in Algeria, especially the Sahrawis.
"UNHCR is deeply grateful to the ARC for its support to refugees in Algeria throughout 2022 and in particular for its continued support to the humanitarian response to Sahrawi refugees in the camps," wrote the representative of UNHCR-Algeria in a letter to the ARC.

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 18 December 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out new attacks against positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, indicated Saturday a statement of the Ministry of Defense.
According to military statement N 700, " advancing SPLA units targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the regions of Al Aarya, Agad Argane and the command post of the 65th regiment in Lagaad in the Mahbes sector.

Ministry of Information extends condolences on passing of journalist Mohamed Salem Bushraya
