El Aaiun (Refugee Camps), 6 August 2022 (SPS) -   The work of the International Student Conference for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People was concluded Saturday with a call for the speedy decolonization of Western Sahara.
The participants in the Conference, who discussed the failure of the United Nations to decolonize Western Sahara, also condemned the series of massive human rights violations against Sahrawi students in Moroccan universities by the Moroccan occupation state.

Birlahlou (liberated territories), 6 August 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out, Saturday, new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the sectors of Auserd and Oum Driga, indicated the Ministry of Defense in its communiqué N 605.
According to the communiqué, SPLA units "targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupying forces in the areas of Glibat El Agaya, Glib Echeg, Gelb Enes in the sector of Auserd and Azmoul Oum Khamla in the sector of Oum Driga.

Quito (Ecuador), 6 August 2022 (SPS) - The Ecuadorean Foreign Minister, Mr. Juan Carlos Holguín, received Friday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the designated Sahrawi ambassador, Mr. Ahmiduha Ahmed, who presented a copy of his credentials, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sahrawi Republic to Ecuador.

Washington (USA) 6 August 2022 (SPS)- The US Senate Appropriations Committee has taken new decisions brushing aside Morocco’s expansionist claims on Western Sahara, and forbidding to Department State to use any funds in the opening of a consulate in occupied territories.
The US Senate Appropriations Committee addressed the Western Sahara issue from three extremely important angles.

El Aaiun (Refugee Camps), 6 August 2022 (SPS) - The 4th Congress of the Sahrawi students Union of Saguia el Hamra and Rio de Oro (UESARIO) was kicked off Friday in the Wilaya of El Aaiun, the Sahrawi refugee camps, with participation of more than 400 delegates from UESARIO's branches, a delegation from the occupied territories of Western Sahara, and more than 150 guests representing international student organizations which maintain working relations and cooperation with UESARIO.

Rabat University Campus (Morocco), 04, August 2022 (SPS) – The Saharawi student and researcher, Jarbuch Brahim, was subjected to beatings and verbal and physical humiliation on July 31, 2022 by a group of ten people who are part of the security apparatus of the Moroccan occupation authorities, inside the university campus of the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

Ait Melloul Local Prison (Morocco), 04, August 2022 (SPS) – The administrative authorities of the Ait Melloul Local Prison, on the outskirts of the city of Agadir, in Morocco, deprived last Tuesday, August 2, of 2022, to members of the family of the Saharawi political prisoner of the Gdeim Izik Group, Brahim Daddi Ismaili, of their right to visit.

Tolpuddle (UK) 03 August 2022 (SPS)-  The annual British Trade Union festival of the six Tolpuddle Martyrs expressed support and solidarity with the Struggle of Saharawi people, Western Sahara campaign said in a letter to Saharawi Workers Union (UGTSARIO), urging the British government to stand for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.
"Today the Saharawi people who live under a brutal Moroccan colonial regime in occupied Western Sahara are also standing up for their rights," the letter says.

Occupied Aaiun, 02, August 2022 (SPS) - The Collective of Human Rights Defenders in Western Sahara (CODESA), a non-governmental organization that operates in the occupied zones of Western Sahara, held a press conference last Thursday, in the presence of national media and human rights activists, to present its 2020-2021 report on the situation of rights in the occupied areas of Western Sahara.

Gaborone (Botswana) 03 August 2022 (SPS)- The Secretary General of Botswana People’s Party (BPP), Mrs Nono Kgafela-Mokoka, reaffirmed her party’s firm stand in solidarity with the legitimate right of the people of Western Sahara to freedom and independence, during her visit Today to the Saharawi Embassy in Gaborone.

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), 02, August 2022 (SPS) – The units of the Saharawi People Liberation Army (SPLA) have once again attacked the positions of enemy soldiers in the Mahbes sector.
According to War Report No. 601 made public by the Ministry of National Defense, an advance detachment of our army attacked on Tuesday the positions of the soldiers of the occupation forces in the Gararat Al-Attasa region, specifically Observation Point No. 101 , and the Udei Um Rakba region, specifically Observation Point No. 191, in Mahbes

Pretoria (South Africa) 1 August 2022 (SPS)- South Africa President, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, also President of the African National Congress (ANC) in power, affirmed in his closing speech yesterday before ANC  6th Policy Conference, that his country and Party cannot rest as long as Western Sahara and Palestine are under occupation.
