New York, 16 April 2022 (SPS) - The New York Support Group for the Independence of Western Sahara called on the UN Security Council to find a way to enable the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) to accomplish its main mission consisting in the organization of a referendum on self-determination in Africa’s last colony.

Birlahlou, 15 April 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have continued their attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the region of Oudi Oum Morkba (Mahbes sector), causing heavy human and material losses.
According to the military communiqué N 505 issued by the Ministry of National Defense, advanced detachments of the SPLA have targeted with intensive bombing the positions of the Moroccan occupying forces in the region of Oudi Oum Morkba (Mahbes sector).

Exercising right to self-determination is only applicable option

New York, 14 April 2022 (SPS) - The representative of the Polisario Front to the United Nations and Coordinator with MINURSO Sidi Mohamed Omar underlined that the only applicable option for the settlement of the conflict in Western Sahara is to enable the Sahrawi people to exercise their right to self-determination and independence.
In his article published recently by the Cuban Center for Research in International Politics, the Sahrawi diplomat broached the peace process sponsored by the United Nations in Western Sahara and the obstacles hindering it.

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), April 13, 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Tuesday new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the sectors of Hawza and Mahbes, said a communiqué of the Ministry of National Defense.
According to the communiqué 504, "the SPLA units bombarded entrenchments and positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the areas of Fedret El-Mers and Kalb Diret north in the sector of Hawza.

Spain loses its position as gas hub of southern Europe

Algiers, 13 April 2022 (SPS) - Spain has lost its position as gas hub of the south of Europe, according to the Spanish paper El-Mundo, noting the importance of the gas agreement signed between Algeria and Italy.
By signing an important gas agreement with Italy on Monday, Algeria opts for this friendly country as a big European energy ally to the detriment of Spain which has lost its positions as a gas hub of the South of Europe, said the newspaper.

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), 07, April 2022 (SPS) – The Saharawi People Liberation Army (SPLA) has launched new concentrated attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces.
According to War Report No. 500 made public by the Ministry of National Defense, units of our army attacked the following enemy positions on Thursday:
- The Rus Asabti region, in the Mahbes sector.
- The region of Guerat Uld Blal, in the Mahbes sector.
