WFDY denounces assassination of young Mohamed Salem Fahim and calls for decolonization of Western Sahara (text)

Budapest (Hungary) 08 February 2021 (SPS)- World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) denounced in a press release, issued Monday, the dubious death of young Saharawi, Mohamed Salem Fahim, whose dead body was found by family hidden for more than 2 weeks in Moroccan morgue in occupied El Aaiun.
WFDY “shows its solidarity with the family and friends of the late Mohamed Salem Fahim, as well as with all the victims of the Moroccan occupation,” the press release emphasised.

Bir Lehlu, Feb 08, 2021 (SPS) - The 34th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, by video conference in due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has clearly demonstrated that Morocco has no sovereignty over Western Sahara.
The Saharawi Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Salec, in a statement released today, said that the continental organization has reaffirmed the sovereignty of the Saharawi Republic over the entire territory of Western Sahara.

AU future at stake, if Morocco not punished for its actions (FM)

Abuja (Nigeria), 07 February 2021 (SPS)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Salec, warned that the future of the African Union organization is at stake, if Morocco is not punished for its actions that go against the Constitutive Act of the Union.
“The future of the Constitutive Act of the African Union will be at stake, if Moroccan is not punished for violating the basic principles of this Act,” confirmed Saharawi foreign minister, in a statement to the Nigerian press in the margins of his visit to Abuja.

SPLA: New attacks on positions of Moroccan occupation forces

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 7 February 2021 (SPS) - The Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) continues, for the 85th consecutive day, its attacks on the positions and entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces, notably in the sectors of El Mahbes, Farsia and Kelta, said a communiqué of the Sahrawi Defense Ministry.
“The units of the Sahrawi army conducted on Friday bombings targeting camps of the Moroccan forces in the area of Raous Aslouguia (sector of Farsia) and the area of Raous Choydhamia (sector of El Mahbes)," said the source.

Algeria, Feb 03, 2021 (SPS) - The Commissioner for Peace and Security of the African Union, Ismail Sharqi, announced an upcoming summit of the African Union Peace and Security Council to discuss developments in the Western Sahara file.
"The return of the war between the Kingdom of Morocco and the SADR required to move to the discussion in order to reach a solution," Mr. Sharqi said, in an interview made the Algerian national radio.
