Royal House of Mandela supports NEHAWU demonstration in support of Western Sahara at the Moroccan Embassy in Pretoria

Cape Town, (South Africa) 31 July 2019 (SPS)- Mr. Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandela, President of the Royal House of Mandela, declared in a press release on Tuesday, that its House supports the call by the National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (NEHAWU) to “demonstrate at the Moroccan Embassy demanding an end to Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara, Africa's last colony.”

Cape Town (South Africa) 31 July 2019 (SPS)– The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (Nehawu) will be demonstrating at the Moroccan Embassy and outside South African Parliament Today, according to the spokesperson of the trade Union, Khaya Xaba.
The protests will form part of the union’s “solidarity programme”, said Khaya Xaba, on Monday, stressing that it is “part of the international campaign for the rights of the Saharawi people to self-determination.”

Sahrawi Republic takes part at Specialized Technical Committee 3rd regular session on Health, Population and Drug Control

Cairo, Egypt 29 July 2019 (SPS) - The Saharawi Republic,  represented by adviser at the Ministry of Public Health, Mr. Saleh Bachir,  took part in the third regular session of the Specialized Technical Committee for Health, Population and Drug Control, held in Cairo, Egypt, from 29 July to 02 August 2019,
The session is entitled "Increasing domestic funding for comprehensive health coverage and health security for all African citizens, including refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons".

New Saharawi doctors batch´s Graduation

Havana, July 30, 2019 (SPS) - the graduation ceremony  of a new group of Sahrawi doctors took place at the Carlos Marx Theater in Havana where thousands of foreign students from all over the country were awarded their degrees as Medicine graduates, according to source from Saharwi Embassy in Cuba
The ceremony chaired by Cuban Vice President Roberto Morales Ojeda and attended by Cuba's Minister of Public Health and the Sahrawi Ambassador to Cuba, Mr. Maulainin Atganna and the accredited diplomatic corps at the Carlos Marx Theater in Havana

Finan and Vermeren: EU violates rulings of the European Court on Western Sahara to pay the "good conduct" of Morocco

Paris (France) 29 July 2019 (SPS)- Mrs. Khadija Mohsen-Finan and Mr. Pierre Vermeren, assured in a collective article they published on July 27th on the French newspaper "Le Monde", that in order to pay the "good conduct" of Morocco, the European Union did not hesitate to violate the judgments of the European Court of Justice relating to Western Sahara.

Algiers, July 24, 2019 (SPS) - Foreign Minister of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) Mohamed Salem Ould Salek on Tuesday strongly condemned Morocco's escalation in the occupied Saharawi territories, especially the latest deadly events in occupied Aaiun, where Morocco "used Army forces to execute its heinous criminal plan," leaving one young Saharawi girl killed and dozens wounded while 140 Saharawi people have been arrested.

Algiers, July 24, 2019 (SPS) - Head of Sahrawi diplomacy Mohamed Salem Ould Salek affirmed that the acts of violence perpetrated by Morocco in occupied Sahrawi territories confirm the confusion of the Moroccan occupier, adding that arms and military don’t weaken the resistance of the Sahrawi people and that the Sahrawi side has shown patience and wisdom when dealing with the United Nations.

French association denounces Morocco’s repression against Sahrawi civilians

Paris, July 24, 2019 (SPS) -The Association of Friends of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (AARASD) on Monday denounced repression against Sahrawi civilians in several Sahrawi occupied territories. They were celebrating Algeria’s victory at the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2019).
According to AARASD, celebration “seems to be impossible” in occupied Western Sahara, notably the capital Aaiun, where Moroccan repression forces “attacked a crowd that rejoiced after this victory.”
