Harare (Zimbabwe), June 07, 2018 (SPS) - The president of Zimbabwe, Mr. Emerson Mnangagwa, said in a statement to the media after his meeting on Tuesday with the President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Gali, that the relations between the two countries are "historic and will remain firm until victory."

Harare, Zimbabwe, June 06, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Gali, has  arrived in Harare on a three-day official visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe.
The President of the Republic was received at the Robert Gabrielle Mugabe International Airport by the Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr. Shiunga, where traditional teams presented songs and dances welcoming the arrival of the President and his delegation.

Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic president, Mr Brahim Ghali departed on June 2 morning ending his three day official visit to Botswana.
Mr Ghali made a quick stopover at the Boteti Mining sorting facility in Gaborone where he was taken through the sorting and sales processes before jetting off to South Africa on a working visit.

Polisario Front calls on Security Council to reopen talks

New York, June 3, 2018 (SPS) - The Polisario Front called Saturday the Security Council, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and his personal envoy Horst Kohler to “organize direct negotiations between the parties of the Sahrawi conflict, Morocco and Western Sahara, as soon as possible and in accordance with the last resolution 2414,” reiterating “its full willingness to start direct talks, without prerequisites, with Rabat that would enable the Sahrawi people to exercise their right to self-determination.”

President Hage Geingob has called on the international community to compel Morocco to implement a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for Western Sahara's independence.
Geingob made the call at State House yesterday during the official visit of the president of Western Sahara, Brahim Ghali, to Namibia. Ghali's three-day state visit will focus on enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
