Saharawi delegation attends 10th congress of Algeria National Liberation Front

Algiers, May 28, 2015 (SPS) - At an official invitation by FLN, a Saharawi delegation, led by the Head of Polisario Front Organization Secretariat Mr. Salem Lbsir, on Wednesday took part at the opening ceremony of the 10th congress of the National Liberation Front of Algeria (FLN), kicked off Thursday in Algiers.


Mr. Salem Lbsir said the delegation delivered a letter from the President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz to the participants of the Congress.


During the opening ceremony, FLN members reiterated their “unconditional” solidarity with the legitimate struggle of the Saharawi people, renewing the Party’s commitment to continue supporting the international efforts aimed at enabling the Saharawi people to exercise their right to self-determination.


The Congress delegates endorsed Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika as the President of the National Liberation Front (FLN).


The delegation is composed of Ms. Khira Bulahi, minister of vocational training, personnel and functional service, Mr. Brahim Ghali, ambassador in Algeria, Mr. Zein Sid Ahmed, secretary general of Saharawi Youth Union (UJSARIO), Mr. Hamdi Bagay, minister of water and environment, and Mr. Lahraitani Lehsen, advisor to the Presidency of the Republic.
