Spanish women's movement calls for condemnation of Moroccan crackdown in Western Sahara

Submitted on

Madrid, Dec 15, 2021 (SPS) - A Galician women's movement on Monday called on the Spanish government to "condemn" the relentless Moroccan human rights violations in Western Sahara, and to urge the occupation authorities to end its brutal represion, for more than a year, of the activist Sultana Khaya and her family.
In a message of support and solidarity addressed to human rights activist Sultana Khaya, the Galician movement "strongly condemns the systematic violation of the rights of the Saharawi people" which has intensified since the Moroccan aggression in November 2020 in El-Guerguerat (southwest of Western Sahara).SPS
