Gaborone (Botswana) Jan 19, 2021 (SPS) - The Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic in Botswana, Mr. Malainin Lakhal, affirmed that “the renewed war in Western Sahara is open to all possibilities after the violation by Morocco of the truce that has prevailed for thirty years and its attempt to attack Sahrawi civilians in the illegal breach of El Guerguerat ”.
Speaking to the Algerian Press Agency (APS) on Monday, the Saharawi diplomat assured that, “with this new aggression, the Moroccan occupier has buried the fragile peace agreement forever and has undermined the three decades of a truce characterized by its intransigence and delay in respecting their commitments”.
“Our people are determined to continue their resistance and our war against the Moroccan occupation is a war of generations that will not stop until we achieve the final victory ", he asserted and pointed out that" in these moments, there will be no voice louder than the sound of our armed resistance with all the legitimate means to liberate the fullness of the national territory of the Saharawi Republic”.
