Minister of Foreign Affairs received by Mauritanian President as an envoy of President of Republic

Nouakchott, November 23, 2020 (SPS) -  Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed-Salem Ould-Salek, was received today, Monday, as an envoy of President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, by Mauritanian President, Mr. Mohamed Ould-Sheikh Al-Ghazwani, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott.
The Minister, who was accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Mr. Brahim Mohamed Mahmoud, handed his host a letter from President Brahim Ghali, on the latest developments related to the Sahrawi issue and bilateral relations.
In a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out, “the Sahrawi Republic believes that stability and security in the region are linked to respect for borders, justice and right, the Sahrawi Republic will work in this direction as a member of the African Union and on the basis that relations are based on mutual respect and common interests, the Sahrawi people who work for peace and fight for their rights will always remain for peace to be based on justice and on respect for borders for all components of the region”.
