Shaheed El-Hafed, 18 July 2020 (SPS) - Saharawi Minister of Public Health, Kheira Bulahi, said Thursday that the Helath Ministry "has not recorded any confirmed case" of Covid-19 in the Saharawi refugee camps and liberated territories of Western Sahara.
Bulahi called, at a press conference held at the headquarters of the Saharawi National Archives, on "all citizens to remain committed to the lockdown measures, whether in the Sahrawi refugee camps or in the liberated territories , in the face of this exceptional situation due to the spread of coronavirus".
"The four suspected cases are in a stable situation and have undergone medical examinations, and have taken samples for tests in a specialized centre," added the Sahrawi Minister.
The Sahrawi Ministry of Public Health also recalled "the importance of respecting personal hygiene measures on an ongoing basis and pay particular attention to domestic and environmental hygiene." (SPS)
