The visit of the former UN special envoy for the Sahara runs until next Friday.
The former UN envoy to Western Sahara and his accompanying delegation will hold meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol, National Defense and Saharawi President Brahim Gali, they will meet with political organizations, part of the Saharawi civil society and the governor of Bojador.
At the moment, the delegation did not reveal the objectives of this surprise visit, which is carried out together with the Security Council meeting on the Saharawi issue and the extension of MINURSO, as well as in a very delicate circumstance of the peace process of the UN and the fragile peace plan.
The visit also coincides with the preparations of the 15th General Congress of the Frente POLISARIO. SPS
