Panama-SADR Parliamentary Friendship Group set up

Panama City. August 15, 2019 (SPS) - Panama's National Assembly has set up a Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) with the aim to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples and the two brotherly countries.
The installation ceremony of Panama-SADR Parliamentary Friendship Group was held Tuesday by the Committee on Foreign Relations of Panama's National Assembly, chaired by Deputy Fernando Arce, the Sahrawi news agency SPS said Wednesday.
The head of Panama-SADR Parliamentary Friendship Group, Deputy Gonzalo Gonzalez, the chargé d'affaires at the Sahrawi Embassy in Panama, Omar Hassena Ahreyem, as well as a delegation of the Panamanian Association of Solidarity with Sahrawi Cause (APASOCASA), led by its president Gloria Esther Castillo, attended the ceremony.
On this occasion, the Sahrawi diplomat and Deputy Gonzalez expressed their satisfaction at the level of relations between the two countries and the "precious contribution" of the parliamentary friendship group to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Panama's National Assembly and the Sahrawi National Council.SPS
