Salvador Plenary Legislative Assembly receives Saharawi Delegation

San Salvador, Nov 22, 2018 (SPS) - Within the framework of the visit of the Saharawi delegation to El Salvador, led by Mansur Omar, Saharawi Minister for Latin America and the Caribbean, accompanied by Suliman Tieb Henan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Sahara Democratic Republic before El Salvador in concurrence and based in Nicaragua, were invited to be present at the Plenary of the Honorable Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, during which they were greeted by the Plenary.
After the closing of the sessions, the delegation had a meeting with the Parliamentary Group of Saharawi-El Salvador Friendship. The Group is composed of representatives of the political parties present in the Salvadoran Assembly, with the Honorable Deputy Cristina Cornejo (FMLN) as coordinator and the Honorable Deputy José Luis Urias (PCN) as sub-coordinator and as members are the deputies Edgard Escolan (ARENA), Carlos Garcia (FMLN) and Numan Salgado (GANA).
The Saharawi delegation expressed to the parliamentary group its gratitude to the members of the Assembly for the approval of this important group and congratulated the elected members, wishing success for it in their noble objectives of strengthening the bonds of friendship and solidarity between both Parliaments.
