Canarian Parliament President renews her solidarity with Saharawi people just cause

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, July 18, 2018 (SPS) - The president of the Canary Islands parliament, Carolina Darias, renewed her solidarity with the just cause of the Saharawi people on the occasion of the reception of the small Saharawi ambassadors who meet at the Canary Islands in the Vacation in Peace Program.
Carolina Darias who was accompanied by the members of her Bureau and spokespersons of the different parliamentary groups, as well as the President of the Canary Association of Friendship with the Saharawi People, Alberto Negrin and the Sahrawi delegate to the Canary Islands, Hamdi Berray, expressed the total solidarity of the Canary people with the Saharawi people in their struggle to achieve their right to self-determination.
She has also thanked the Canarian families for the reception of the Sahrawi children stressing that without this humanitarian effort from the Canary Islands, this welcome program would not continue until today.
In his interventions, the president of the Canarian Association of Friends of the Saharawi People, Alberto Negrin and the Saharawi delegate in the Canary Islands, Hamdi Berray agreed on the importance of the continuation of the vacation program for the small Saharawis as it will strengthen the Historical cultural links between the Canarian people and the Saharawi people.
They also expressed their high consideration and recognition to the Canarian families for the reception of these small Sahrawi children so that they are in the best conditions far from the adverse weather conditions in the Saharawi Refugee Camps.SPS
