Geneva, March 02, 2018 (SPS) - Sahrawi Minister delegate for Europe Mohamed Sidati called Wednesday, in Geneva, the international community to “support UN peace process and respect the international law concerning Western Sahara.”
Speaking in a conference at the headquarters of the United Nation Human Rights Council, Sidati said that “the international humanitarian law is clear on Western Sahara, the Moroccan occupation is illegal and the exploitation of our natural resources is the biggest threat for peace,”
Morocco’s efforts to undermine the rights of the Sahrawi people at the African Union and the European Union shows its unwillingness to act in good faith concerning the international conventions relating to Western Sahara, said the source.SPS
