Saharawi ambassador in Uganda delivers a letter from Speaker of parliament to his Ugandan counterpart

Kampala (Uganda), Dec 20, 2017 (SPS) - the Saharawi ambassador in Uganda, Habib Bujres, was received Monday, by the president of the Ugandan parliament at the headquarters of his institution, where he delivered a letter from the Speaker of the National Council Saharawi (Parliament), Jatri Adduh.
The Saharawi diplomat took advantage of the meeting to inform his interlocutor about the national cause, the humanitarian situation in the Saharawi camps, the peaceful resistance in the occupied Territories and the systematic pillage of Sahrawi resources by Morocco.
On the other hand, Habib Bujres, conveyed the gratitude of the people and the Saharawi government to Uganda for its support for the Saharawi cause, and in particular its strong support in the last session of the General Assembly, in the sessions of the African Parliament and in the work of the Euro-African Summit.
For her part, the President of the Parliament of Uganda reaffirmed the support and commitment of her country to the just struggle of the Saharawi people and their defense of a solution based on the self-determination and independence of the people of Western Sahara. SPS
