Submitted on

Algiers, Nov 28, 2017 (SPS) - The Sahrawi minister of Information Hamada Salma Daf said Monday, in Algiers, that the Sahrawi State is today “a national, regional and international reality,” calling on the Moroccan party to stop its obstinacy and act positively with the United Nations and its special envoy to Western Sahara, Horst Kohler.
“The Sahrawi state is today a national, regional and international reality and the Moroccan propaganda failed to hide its truth to the world,” said Hamada Salma Daf who visited the headquarters of the Algeria Press Service Agency in the afternoon.
In this regard, the Sahrawi minister stressed “the obstinacy of the Moroccan party, which continues to go against the grain by attempting to exclude the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) from participating in the AU-EU Summit” scheduled in Abidjan (Cote d’Ivoire) on 29 and 40 November.
Recalling that the SADR is a founding member of the African Union (1984), Hamada Salma said that Morocco, which joined the organization following the signing of its charter that bans colonialism in the continent, must respect the principles and values on which the AU is founded.
The Sahrawi minister hailed, during his visit, the role of media in making the Sahrawi cause known at the international level, exposing the violations of Sahrawi people’s rights, and denouncing the arrogance of the occupation authorities of Western Sahara.
Accompanied by the Sahrawi ambassador to Algiers, Bechraya Hamoudi Bayounen the Sahrawi minister of Information also visited the headquarters of the Algerian Radio.SPS
