Occupied Aaiun, Nov 15, 2017 (SPS) - Moroccan occupation forces intervened violently on Tuesday against a group of Saharawi protesters in the occupied capital Aaiun and the occupied city of Boujdour, resulting in many casualties among the demonstrators.
Many Sahrawi citizens, according to the Sahrawi News Agency (SPS), had come out in the aforementioned cities to meet the protest call launched by the Coordination of Human Rights Activities in the Western Sahara earlier, in condemnation of the disastrous Madrid agreement which divided the Sahrawi people and their resources.
The Saharawi demonstrators were surprised to be intercepted by the Moroccan occupation forces and encircled them before intervening against them by the oppressive formations, which resulted in the fall of a group of injured, some of whom were transferred to the hospital in the two cities occupied.
