The Council of Ministers meets to address national cause

Chahid El Hafed, Oct 26, 2017 (SPS) - The Council of Ministers met Wednesday, under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of Frente POLISARIO, President of the Republic, Brahim Gali, to evaluate the 2017 Government Program, as well as the last developments of the national cause.
The Council of Ministers has welcomed "the performance of national institutions and their commitment to strengthening the areas, "which" shapes the Saharawi state as a regional, continental and international reality, "said the statement issued after the meeting of the Council of Ministers.
At the foreign policy level, the Council of Ministers addressed the latest developments at the African and Continental levels, as well as the recent visit of the Personal Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations for Western Sahara and the 42nd Edition of EUCOCO.
The Council also applauded the defense of the national cause in during the work of the 72nd Ordinary Session of the General Assembly, as well as efforts aimed at implementing the opinion of the European Court of Justice of December 25, 2016.
In this regard, the Council welcomes "the African Union, for its firm defense of its Charter, its resolutions and respect for its members, when it comes to relations with others partners."
On the other hand, the Council praised "the resistance of our people in the Occupied Territories and in the south of Morocco," before appealing to "the continuation of national and international campaigns to accelerate the release of all Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan prisons ".
Finally, the Council of Ministers urged all Sahrawis to "national unity within the framework of the Saharawi State and under the leadership of the Frente POLISARIO to stop the maneuvers of the Moroccan regime and its propaganda and psychological warfare." SPS
