SADR participates in Africa Intelligence and Security Congress

Khartoum (Sudan), Sept 28, 2017 (SPS) - The Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), represented by a delegation led by the Secretary of State for Security and Documentation, Brahim Ahmed Mahmud, took part at the 14th African Congress of Intelligence and Security, held in the Khartoum Sudanese capital.


The two-day meeting will address the security situation in Africa and the challenges facing the continent, as well as strategies to combat the threats of terrorism, in order to ensure political stability in Africa.


In this line, the meeting will emphasize the importance of promoting scientific research centers in order to diagnose and overcome negative phenomena.


The organization that groups the security and intelligence apparatuses of 51 African countries, forms part of the structure of the African Union (AU), and annually holds its meetings, to coordinate security efforts in order to combat organized crime, terrorism and the various threats.


It is noteworthy that SADR is a founding member of this organization and participated in all its meetings. The last one held these days in Khartoum, Sudan. SPS
