Gdeim Izik trial: Polisario Front denounces illegal, immoral practices

Bir-Lahlou (Liberated Territories), June 12, 2017 (SPS) - The Permanent Office of the Polisario Front's Secretary General has denounced the "illegal and immoral" practices marring the trial of the Saharawi political prisoners of Gdeim Izik and "gross violations" against them.
In a statement released following a meeting that discussed, on Saturday, various issues relating to national and international topical events, the Office, denounced the "illegal and immoral" practices that marred the trial of the political prisoners of Gdeim Izik."
The meeting was chaired by President  of Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali.
Polisario Front's Permanent Office welcomed Gdeim Izik group's "resilience" in Moroccan occupation authorities' "illegal and immoral" practices.
The statement called for an urgent intervention to make it possible for Gdeim Izik prisoners to benefit of a fair trial and be tried in Western Sahara.
It also called for the immediate and unconditional release all Saharawi political detainees, in respect of the international law and the humanitarian international law. (SPS)
