New York, March 02, 2017 (SPS) - The Guerguerat crisis can resurface at any time in Western Sahara in the absence of a peace process that paves the way towards the final settlement of the Sahrawi issue, said Wednesday Polisario Front representative to UN Ahmed Boukhari.
"We believe that in the absence of a serious peace process as called for in the latest Security Council resolution, the Guerguerat episode can be repeated at any time," Boukhari told APS.
The Polisario delegate said that Guerguerat (crisis) is only a part of the real problem which the blocking of UN process by Morocco.
"The (real) problem is not Guerguerat, but it is the absence of a peace process that Morocco has undermined," he insisted. SPS
