Havana (Cuba), December 01, 2016 (SPS) - the Saharawi delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Salek accompanied by SADR Ambassador to Cuba Mr. Malainin Attgana, were received on Wednesday by Cuban Vice President, Mr. Salvador Mesa during their participation in the funeral ceremony of late leader Fidel Castro, died Friday at age of 90.
On the sidelines of the funeral, Minister of Foreign Affairs met with many heads of state and heads of government and representatives of the participating countries in the ceremony of the historic leader of the Cuban revolution.
The head of Sahrawi diplomacy, Mr. Mohamed Salem Salek Wednesday evening was also received by the responsible of International Relations of the Cuban Communist Party, Mr. Jose Ramon, The two sides broached the bilateral relations between the two countries and latest developments in the national cause.
For his part, Jose Ramon reiterated Cuban firm position along with the Saharawi people and their leader , the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia El Hamra y Rio de Oro until the achievement of its goals of freedom and independence.SPS
