Minister of Information meets with his African counterparts

Durban (South Africa) October 17, 2016 (SPS) – Minister of Information Hamada Selma has held meetings with his African counterparts, on the sidelines of the 5th African Internet Governance Forum.
In this context, he met with his counterparts from South Africa, Malawi, Gambia, and addressed the general situation of the Saharawi issue as well as to inform their governmentsabout  the gratitude of the Sahrawi state for the position of the African countries against foreign occupation and pro right of peoples to self-determination, freedom and independence.
He also met with the representative of the United Nations in charge of governance and management of internet, and addressed the problems of the Sahrawi refugees in relation to the internet and how the international organization can contribute in this regard, the situation in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, and its responsibility towards the territory under the decolonization process.
