Submitted on

Paris, April 14, 2016 (SPS) -The mayor of Ivry-sur-Seine Philippe Bouyssou has questioned for the second time the French Foreign Affairs Ministry Jean-Marc Ayrault on the situation of Sahrawi political prisoners, calling him to make pressure on Moroccan authorities.
"The situation of Gdeim Izik group of prisoners is extremely worrying. It sees that the Moroccan authorities to deal with this issue without taking into consideration of the basic human rights, including defence by a lawyer," Bouyssou stressed in a second letter Tuesday, of which APS obtained a copy.
The first letter has been sent on 24 March.
The mayor of Ivry, a village situated in Ile de France, near Paris, called on the minister, "once again", to make pressure on the Moroccan authorities so that "they fully respect the rights of these detainees and those willing to rightly defend them."SPS
