Morocco attacks against UN chief: Ban Ki-moon "deeply disappointed," "angry"

Washington(United States)March 15, 2016 (SPS)  - United Nations Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon said Monday he was "deeply disappointed" and "anger" following  Morocco's attacks against his person, dubbing them "disrespectful" towards the UN.
 
The Secretary-General expressed its anger about the recent statement of the Government of Morocco, expressing its deep disappointment about demonstration, which was organized Sunday, and which attacks him in person, said the UN in a statement released just after a meeting in New York between Ban Ki-moon and the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Salaheddine Mezouar.
 
The UN SG stressed that "such attacks are disrespectful to him and to the United Nations."
 
Mr. Ban asked the Moroccan Minister of "clarification of the presence of several members of the Moroccan government among the demonstrators demanded him to ensure that the United Nations enjoys the respect in Morocco," according to UN statement. SPS
